As part of the PEA (Environmental Education Program), Itaminas’s Environment department created 6 mascots to be part of educational talks, educational booklets, and presentations for students at all schools in Sarzedo.
The contest held had the participation of more than 600 children, who contributed their suggestions and creativity.
Taking into account the quality and originality of the entries received, we decided to put the finalist names to a public vote, seeking everyone’s participation in choosing the most fitting names for our mascots.
With more than 3,600 votes cast, the names were finalized on April 14! The results are available on the website https://www.mascotesitaminas.com.br/

On May 11, the prizes were awarded to the contest winners. Each student received a Kindle, to further inspire their creativity and intelligence along their learning journey.
Now our mascots are ready to join us at all our presentations with schools, adding a touch of joy and fun to our events.
