Sarzedo Gourmet – 2023

Itaminas was the title sponsor of the 6th edition of Sarzedo Gourmet, an annual food and live music event held in Sarzedo.

Sarzedo Gourmet 2023 was a tremendous success, bringing together great food, high-quality music, and an elegant crowd in one place. This edition of the event, held in a more innovative setup at a new venue, the former rodeo grounds in the Imaculada Conceição neighborhood, was designed to offer greater comfort and safety to residents of the city and neighboring towns.

Following the same level of culinary excellence as the previous gourmet edition, “Tradições e Raízes” (“Traditions and Roots”), participants presented exceptional dishes that not only delighted the eye but also the palate, with flavors that evoke the rich history of Minas Gerais cuisine, under the supervision of renowned chefs Rusty Marcellini and Renato Lobato.

On stage, local Sarzedo artists and guest performers, including notable names in Brazilian popular music, put on a show of their own. The result of all these elements was one of the best editions of Sarzedo Gourmet ever organized by the city government, with support from the City Council.

The winners of Sarzedo Gourmet 2023 – “Tradições e Raízes” were as follows:

1st place: Claudiana Elitana with the dish “Segunda Sessão” and a cash prize of R$2,000.00.

2nd place: Luciana de Fátima with the dish “Raízes de Avós” and a cash prize of R$1,000.00.

3rd place: Patrícia de Resende with the dish “Trupico com Mostarda” and a cash prize of R$500.00.

In the “Prato da Galera” (Crowd Favorite) category, Sônia Marques was chosen with the dish “Costelinha Atolada,” also receiving a cash prize of R$500.00.

Sarzedo Gourmet 2023 featured 16 competitors, four more than the previous edition, and all of them were honored with personalized plaques matching the event’s theme.
