SIPATMIN (Brazil’s Annual Internal Accident Prevention Week), the Semana Interna de Prevenção de Acidentes do Trabalho na Mineração, is a significant event that seeks to promote the safety and well-being of workers.

Itaminas held SIPATMIN 2023 from October 30 to November 3, offering a week full of interaction and learning.

During this period, a series of relevant topics were addressed. Among them, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) stood out as a serious concern in any workplace. There were also discussions on workplace exercises, harassment in the workplace, hand injury prevention, and nutrition. These topics are essential to ensuring employee health and safety, demonstrating Itaminas’s commitment to preventing accidents and occupational illnesses.

On the last day of SIPATMIN, there was a celebration marking the success of 2023. During the event, several prizes were raffled off among employees, creating a festive atmosphere and rewarding those dedicated to workplace safety.

A special highlight was the presence of Renner Silva, voted Brazil’s best speaker, who brought an inspiring message of hope and motivation to everyone in attendance.
