As part of the Environmental Education Program (PEA), we held an enriching lecture on the vital importance of preventing wildfires. Our initiative did not stop at addressing the devastating effects of wildfires on our environment, but also highlighted the crucial role played by firefighting brigades in tackling these fires.
We opened the program with a comprehensive, informative lecture, in which we shared fundamental knowledge about the dangers of wildfires and the urgency of preserving our forests and ecosystems. We then moved on to hands-on action! We held an exciting practical firefighting workshop, giving participants a unique opportunity to understand up close the challenges faced by firefighting brigades on the wildfire front line.
On the 16th and 17th, we had the privilege of leading four fifth-grade classes, fostering the exchange of knowledge and encouraging concrete action to protect our environment. We firmly believe that, united, we can make a difference and safeguard our planet from the harmful impacts of wildfires.
