On February 19, Itaminas took another important step toward building an increasingly ethical and transparent business environment with the launch of our Integrity Program.
This program reinforces our commitment to ethics, compliance and responsibility across all of our relationships, ensuring our practices are always aligned with the highest standards of governance.
The event featured remarks from President Thiago Toscano and Vice Presidents Rodrigo Gontijo and Argeu Géo, underscoring the importance of this milestone for the company. Our Compliance Manager, Andreza Pereira, explained how the Integrity Program will work internally, detailing its guidelines and impact on the company’s day-to-day operations. To close things out, we had a special appearance by Colonel Kênia Prates Silva Maciel de Freitas, who shared an inspiring reflection on Purpose and Values, highlighting its direct connection to integrity.
And so that everyone could understand it clearly and feel even closer to our culture, we created a Code of Conduct in the local “Mineiro” dialect! With a simple, authentic way of talking about core values, we made the rules more accessible and celebrated our own down-to-earth, Minas Gerais way of being.
