Itaminas takes another decisive step in its journey of sustainable growth and international expansion. The company has signed a strategic agreement with Porto Sudeste, one of Brazil’s leading port terminals, located in the Itaguaí region (Rio de Janeiro).
With an annual capacity of 4 million tonnes, the partnership enables the direct export of Itaminas’ production, strengthening logistics efficiency, operational predictability and the company’s presence in the global market.
More than a shipping solution, the agreement represents a move aligned with the company’s long-term vision, which seeks to scale up and expand its international operations in a structured, sustainable way.
“Connecting our production to a high-performance port structure is an important step in boosting our competitiveness. We gain agility, efficiency, and further strengthen our position as a reference in responsible mining,” says Thiago Toscano, CEO of Itaminas.
The partnership with Porto Sudeste also reaffirms Itaminas’ commitment to innovation, operational excellence and the development of integrated logistics solutions, essential to meeting the demands of a constantly evolving global market.
Itaminas remains firm in its purpose of growing with solidity, building long-term relationships and generating value across the entire production chain.
