Amid recent market speculation involving financial institutions and companies linked to its shareholders, Itaminas clarifies that it is not involved in any sale process or corporate negotiation. The company continues firmly on its growth path, establishing itself as one of the most solid and strategic assets in the Brazilian mineral sector.
In a clear show of confidence in the company’s future, the three partners, Rodrigo Gontijo, Argeu Geo and Daniel Vorcaro, fully prepaid, on May 12, 2025, the final installments of the company’s acquisition agreement, which were only due in November of this year. The move reinforces the controlling shareholders’ financial strength and their commitment to Itaminas’ sustainable development.
“This move reaffirms our confidence in the path we are on. We are building something too valuable to go unnoticed, and that naturally draws attention. We remain focused on growth, with transparency and responsibility,” says Thiago Toscano, President of Itaminas.
The company is currently going through a period of strong expansion and consolidation. One of its recent milestones is the signing of the contract with Porto Sudeste, which strategically positions Itaminas on the international stage by integrating its production into the global iron ore export chain.
Itaminas does not exist merely to extract ore. Its mission is to drive progress, promoting prosperity, quality of life and sustainable development. The company believes it is possible to mine responsibly, respecting the environment, caring for communities and ensuring safety across all of its operations.
“It is no coincidence that we are leading a new phase in Brazilian mining. We are proud of what we are building and remain firm in our purpose of transforming the country and inspiring the world with modern, ethical and efficient mining,” concludes Toscano.
